How Does the VACOped Achilles Tendon Walking Boot Work?

The VACOped features a patented range-of-motion (ROM), adjustable between -15° and +30°, which allows for a functional treatment in real equinus position. This leads to faster recovery and functional outcomes comparable to surgery, without the associated risks and costs.

The equinus position refers to a downward angle of the foot. When setting and locking the VACOped at 30° the boot is able to treat the injured ankle in this position.
