TheraBand CLX Consecutive Loop Resistance Band (22m Roll)

Featuring a unique consecutive loop design, the TheraBand CLX Consecutive Loop Resistance Band (22m Roll) is incredibly versatile. The loops act as easy anchor points for your body, a partner or physical structures like doors, greatly increasing the types of exercises you can do. They’re also completely latex-free, made of TheraBand’s high-performance rubber for strength, stretch and consistent resistance.

Also included with TheraBand CLX is access to their official app, which provides a variety of step-by-step guides, in-depth tips and instructional videos to help you make the most of your TheraBands.

What's Included?

  • 1 x 22 Metre Roll of Resistance Band with Consecutive Loops

Highly Versatile

The CLX Consecutive Loops provide versatile training, effectively combining bands, loops, tubing with handles and door anchors into a exercise tool. Easy grip loops provide patients with multiple and unique grip options and also help to encourage hands-free exercises.

Continuous Loops Act as Built-In Anchor Points

While standard resistance bands have to be tied to something to create an anchor, each piece of CLX TheraBand features pre-shaped loops that can be secured to the user and a heavy anchor point. Possible anchor points include doors, frames, handles, exercise partners and more.

Provide a Wide Variety of Grip Options

Depending on you, your injury or the type of exercises you're performing, the type of grip you prefer can differ. With the continuous, pre-shaped loops of the TheraBand CLX you can enjoy the most comfortable grip, unique grips for special applications and grips for both closed and open hands. You can even put your hand through a loop and hold a weight (as seen in the image below), providing resistance to your whole arm.

Fantastic for Rehabilitation

After an injury, it's vital that patients can effectively train and rehabilitate to regain their strength and ability. The different resistances offered by the TheraBand CLX loops enable therapists to easily provide strength training to patients, helping to streamline and monitor their rehabilitation and progress. The simple design of the CLX also helps encourage patient compliance, enabling patients to more easily use the loops as a part of their home exercise routine.

TheraBand training is easier on joints than weight training and is less likely to cause injuries. This helps you to provide physical therapy in a safe manner that enables you to properly take into account the needs of the patient.

Take Bodyweight Exercise to the Next Level

Lifting heavy weights isn't for everyone, with some people just preferring bodyweight exercises. Unfortunately, other than simply raising the amount of reps, resistance training can be limiting. Adding TheraBand Resistance Bands to bodyweight exercises can help mix things up a bit by raising the difficulty, building your fitness and improving your strength levels gradually. But because of how lightweight and compact they are, you can still exercise at home or outside.

Completely Latex-Free

While many latex-free resistance bands offer reduced performance compared with their latex counterparts, the TheraBand latex-free bands don't. This enables patients with latex allergies and latex-free facilities to fully reap the benefits provided by TheraBand CLX loops.

Seven Different Resistances

To help enable progressive strength training, the TheraBand CLX loops are available with seven different resistances. Each of these resistances are colour-coded to give therapists an easy indication of a patient's progress. The different resistances are outlined in the table below.

Colour Weight Resistance at 100% Elongation Resistance at 200% Elongation
Yellow Light 3 pounds (1.3kg) 4.3 pounds (2kg)
Red Medium 3.7 pounds (1.7kg) 5.5 pounds (2.5kg)
Green Heavy 4.6 pounds (2.1kg) 6.7 pounds (3kg)
Blue Extra Heavy 5.8 pounds (2.6kg) 8.6 pounds (3.9kg)
Black Special Heavy 7.3 pounds (3.3kg) 10.2 pounds (4.6kg)
Silver Super Heavy 10.2 pounds (4.6kg) 15.3 pounds (6.9kg)
Gold Max Heavy 14.2 pounds (6.5kg) 21.3 pounds (9.5kg)

What Does 200% Elongation Mean?

The strength classifications of TheraBands are graded by their resistance at 200% Elongation. By 100% elongation, we mean when a length of band has been stretched to three times its original measurement. This applies to any length of measurement you cut from the roll. For example, if you cut a 100cm length of TheraBand, 100% elongation would be when the strip of fabric is stretched to 300cm.

Includes CLX TheraBand App

Included with every TheraBand CLX purchase is access to the CLX app. It contains detailed information about your new TheraBands, along with an exercise library to help you get the most out of them. With step-by-step instructions and videos created by TheraBand's team of physios and trainers, it's hugely beneficial for both fitness and rehabilitation.
