Who Can Use the Pressure Relief Polyester Fleece?

The Pressure Relief Polyester Fleece is designed for anybody who requires comfort and relief underneath bony parts of the body, such as the heels, ankles, or elbows. It can be used at home, and is also suited to use in hospital and community settings.

How Hygienic Is the Pressure Relief Polyester Fleece?

The Pressure Relief Polyester Fleece can be washed and dried, which makes it a hygienic option for use in care environments. This also ensures value for money by providing an economical solution to pressure relief when compared to single-use pressure relief products.

The Polyester Pressure Relief Fleece can be machine washed at temperatures up to 60°C. It can be tumbled dried at a low temperature.

Do I Use the Bed Fleece Under or Over the Bed Sheet?

The Pressure Relief Fleece can be used either on top of the bed sheet or underneath. While it may be more effective on top of the bed sheet, you may find that it is more comfortable if it is placed under the bed sheet. It is tried both ways to find out what works best for you.

Is the Bed Fleece Good for Pressure Sores?

The pressure relief bed fleece is designed primarily to relieve pressure on bony parts of the body. If you require pressure relief specifically for pressure sores, a product specifically designed for pressure sores may be more effective.

How Thick Is the Polyester Fleece?

Each size of the Pressure Relief Polyester Fleece has a thickness of approximately 1" (2.5cm). Please note that this thickness is measured as new and may vary after use.

Can the Pressure Relief Polyester Fleece Be Trimmed?

If necessary, you can use a high-quality pair of fabric scissors to cut your fleece down to size. If you need to do this, we recommend taking your time and using a pair of quality fabric scissors.

Recovering from hip replacement. Needed to rest, it has really helped. But being in bed a while you still get achy in lower back. No magic solution, but I’m pleased I bought it.

The base is very stiff and hard which means that it creases up and becomes uncomfortable. I was expecting it to be softer so unfortunately doesn’t really do the job I wanted it too, so very disappointed with this product.
