Men's Hernia Boxer Shorts

The Men's Hernia Boxer Shorts are ideal for inguinal hernia containment, and pre- and post-hernia surgery. They are a re-styled version of the original hernial brief, incorporating the modern boxer shorts design.

The Men's Hernia Boxer Shorts come with a pair of hernia pads, which can be worn for enhanced containment of reducible inguinal hernias.

Please note, due to the compressive nature of their design, we recommend you select a size up from your standard size if you are concerned about your Hernia Boxer Shorts fitting tightly.

Which Size Is Right for Me?

To find the best size of the Hernia Boxer Shorts for your needs, we recommend measuring the circumference of your hips/pelvis (see below) and matching the measurement to the sizing in the table. Please note that the boxer shorts are designed to provide compression and as such have a close-fitting design. If you would prefer a slightly looser feel, we'd recommend choosing the size above your measurement.

SIZE MATTERS

Being a 36" waist I ordered size L as recommended, the pants unstretched measure 28" and stretching manually could get them to reach about 33" !
So very,very tight when tried to put on. They seem decent quality and they would definitely help if they were not so tight. Recommend ordering at least one size up from what you would expect. Can't send back as they are underwear !

It works, and is very well made

The best I've come across and probably as comfortable as a truss can be. Needs to be a size smaller than a waist measurement. Pity there's no adjustment of material midway along the crotch, to "rotate" the pad pocket and offer an increase in pressure at the lower end od the pd. The shorts occasionally pinch the skin at crotch and have to be pulled to release the pinch, but that probably because there has to be a compromise between function and comfort.

We can confirm that these Men's Hernia Boxer Shorts do indeed fit tightly due to the compressive nature of their design. The protection and stability they offer simply cannot be achieved with a looser fit and so we do advise customers to select a size up if they are concerned about tightness.

Quality has so far been good, I hope it can cope with the pulling without tearing eventually. Sizing requires thought. If your measurements are 'on the cusp' between two sizes - go for the larger one. Not an item to wear on long drives as it becomes uncomfortable. Good when golfing! Toilet visiting is best well anticipated. All in all it is comforting to have it on.

superb item, i do a physical job and wouldn't be able to continue working with a hernia, these shorts are like an exterior muscle and very comfortable too (i dont use the pads that come with them)
