ResQmat Flexible Evacuation Stretcher

The ResQmat Flexible Evacuation Stretcher is a cutting edge evacuation stretcher for the quick, safe evacuation of individuals with mobility problems. Made from brightly coloured, sturdy materials, this fully padded evacuation stretcher provides secure placement of the patient for two required carers to carry the individual to safety. 

Stored in a highly visible bag, velcro closures are quickly and easily opened and the stretcher simply rolled out, ready to use. A fully padded underside ensures total patient comfort and allows the stretcher to be used going down stairs or over rough surfaces with no risk of patient injury.

How to Use the ResQmat Flexible Evacuation Stretcher

• Remove the ResQmat from it's easily opened storage bag
• The stretcher can be comfortably laid out on the patient bed
• The patient can then be transferred onto the ReqQmat with a rolling technique
• The pillow should be at the head and feet should be within the V section of the red strap
• Firmly wrap the side wings of the ResQmat over the patient and secure with the Velcro straps
• Straps should be secured foot-end first
• Pull the red strap through the plastic buckle and fasten for a secure fit
• Using the end pulling handles the individual can be moved to a safe area
• When going down stairs it is important to pull the individual foot end first

Maintaining the ResQmat

The ResQmat is easily cleaned with a spray polish which should be buffed in and left to dry. After this, the ResQmat can then be easily rolled up and placed back into its storage bag.

Please ensure that the stretcher is completely dry before re-rolling.
