What Does the Abduction Pillow Do?

The abduction pillow is designed to relieve tension, which is often experienced when wearing an arm sling. This abduction pillow relieves pain and tension in the supraspinatus muscle in the shoulder, up to about 50% compared to standard arm slings. This ensures that users can get the most out of their arm slings through increasing their wear time, for better, faster recovery.

How Do I Wear the Arm Sling?

To wear an arm sling, first place your injured arm in the sling's pouch, with your hand resting comfortably at the bottom. Adjust the strap around your neck so the sling supports your forearm at a 90-degree angle, and secure the strap around your back. Make sure your injured arm feels supported and comfortable, and consult a healthcare professional for proper fitting and guidance.

The immobiliser has adjustable, protective foam pads to ensure your shoulder and neck remain comfortable throughout use. The support also has an additional adjustable strap and abdominal strap for improved comfort. The abdominal strap helps make sure the brace remains in place.
