What Is the Wisbi Incontinence Bed Mat and Bed Exit Sensor?

The Wisbi Incontinence Bed Mat and Bed Exit Sensor offers an aid for carers in healthcare and home settings to be able to monitor when patients they are caring for are on a wet surface or have left the bed. Its 2-in-1 function enables targeted care, improved efficiency, and saving on buying separate sensor devices for monitoring incontinence and bed exiting.

For Easier Monitoring and Improved Dignity

Monitoring and checking for incontinence of a resident is often undignified and difficult, especially if it is for a loved one at home. Monitoring patients who are liable to falls from the bed or who have dementia can also be time-consuming and challenging, leaving carers constantly on the look out. The Wisbi has been designed and made for dignified easy monitoring, reducing patient and care-giver stress and saving time too.

How Does The Wisbi Incontinence and Bed Exit Alarm Work?

The Wisbi Sensor Mat automatically detects when the bed pad gets wet due to incontinence and sends out a notification to the caregiver's smartphone via an app, enabling quicker bed changing action and helping to prevent pressure sores. The pad also detects if the person in question exists the bed, and again will send out a notification to the smartphone – allowing caregivers to respond quickly and prevent patient distress. Preventing bed leaving can also significantly reduce patient falls and wandering.

Texible wisbi smartphone app

How Do I Connect the Pad with the App?

The Wisbi pad comes with a transmitter which will connect to the Texible Wisbi smartphone app via Wi-Fi. The app will allow you to adjust the amount of time that your patient or loved one is out of bed before a notification gets sent out.

What Is the Capacity of the Wisbi Incontinence Bed Pad?

The Wisbi Incontinence Bed Mat has a capacity of 700ml. Once the capacity reaches 10ml a notification is sent to the carer smartphone.

Machine Washable Bed Pad

For re-usability the Wisbi Incontinence Bed Pad is entirely machine washable up to 100 cycles. This feature eliminates the need for disposables and especially benefits care or nursing homes, saving money on costly disposables.
