Timesco K1 Handheld Pulse Oximeter

The Timesco K1 Handheld Pulse Oximeter is designed for monitoring the SpO2 and pulse rates of patients. Up to 100 IDs can be set up for multi-patient use, and the rubber casing helps to protect the device during use and when travelling between clinics.

What's Included?

  • 1 x K1 Handheld Pulse Oximeter
  • 2 x AA Batteries

How Does the Handheld Pulse Oximeter Work?

The Handheld Pulse Oximeter features a fingertip clip that gently clips onto the patient's fingertip. Once the power is turned on, it measures the patient's SpO2, or oxygen saturation, as well as the pulse rate. This information is displayed in clear numbers on the LED display.

Who Can Use the Fingertip Pulse Oximeter?

With the ability to create up to 100 IDs, the K1 Pulse Oximeter is ideal for use by doctors and medics responsible for monitoring patients' SpO2 and pulse rates. As the rubber casing helps to protect the oximeter, it is also suitable for on-call doctors or medics conducting home visits, as the rubber helps to protect it from damage.

What Do the Numbers Mean?

The K1 Pulse Oximeter displays two key numbers during spot checks: the Sp02 level and the pulse rate. As a normal resting heart rate will differ depending on factors including health and lifestyle, it is best to ask a doctor about what your own pulse rate should be.

However, generally speaking, a normal resting heart rate is around 60 to 100 beats per minute (bpm). Normal blood oxygen saturation level is typically around 95% to 100%.

How Long Does A Fully Charged Battery Last?

The K1 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is provided with two AA batteries, which, when fully charged, provides up to 30 hours of continuous use. This is particularly suitable for use in busy medical environments where it's important to ensure that equipment is ready to go should the next patient require it.
