Anthropological Skull Model (Broken Hill Or Kabwe)

About the Model

The casting is very true-to-life, having been produced from scientifically-made copies of specimens featured in German University collections. This means that all the details in each anthropological skull have been reproduced absolutely accurately. About Broken Hill/Kabwe

This particular skull is from the first early human cranium fossil to be found in Africa, in 1921. Once thought to be less than 40 000 years old, the skull has since been found to be at least 125 000 years old, probably significantly older. Some researchers have proposed that Broken Hill may be a member of the African population from which all modern humans descended, although this cannot be definitively proven.
