Do These Sliding Aids Enable Movement In All Directions?

Yes, when placed on top of a SIBA satin base sheet, this draw sheet allows patients to be moved in all four directions as indicated by its white checked markings. They can therefore be turned from side to side, pulled downwards or upwards, and repositioned widthways on the bed. However, as this bed sheet only spans from shoulders to hips, it is not suitable for those who have very limited mobility in their lower bodies or necks.

Markers on the slide sheet indicate which way up it should sit on the mattress and a central marker shows where it should be positioned, so you'll have no trouble placing it correctly.
