Suitable to Use With or Without Hearing Aids
The Crescendo 60/8 is for both hearing aid wearers and non-hearing aid users. Users who wear hearing aids will use the system by switching to the Loop program on their hearing aid; the signal will be sent directly into the aid, eliminating any background noise. Non-hearing aid wearers use the stethoscope headset included with the order to receive the sound.
Do I Have to Remove My Hearing Aid to Use This Product?
Yes, this system is designed with a headset that fits snugly in your ears, meaning you must remove your hearing aid for proper use. Three Internal Switch Settings
The Crescendo 60/8 has three internal switch setting depending on the situation required:
- Microphone setting that can be used with a plug-in or a microphone with a lead
- AUX setting that can be used when connecting to a television or any other sound source using a direct connection lead
- Loop pick up setting, to be used when listening to a loop system, or testing to an existing loop system. Similar to a hearing aid on 'T' or loop settings.
Ranging Tone Control
The Sarabec Crescendo 60/8 Listening System works by picking up the sound of a television or radio and amplifying it through the built-in microphone and is heard through the provided headset. It has a wide-ranging tone control that can boost the high and low frequencies according to your hearing needs.
Can the Sarabec Crescendo System Be Used With Headphones?
Absolutely. The Sarabec Crescendo System is compatible with any headphones, headset or listening device that utilises a 3.5mm jack plug.
