Additionally it can be used to plug a gap between a larger pillow and a bed or chair, which further reinforces the support and lowers the chance of accidental movement, which can be painful for bedridden patients. The hygienic cover that's supplied with this model is waterproof, breathable and easy to clean.

Moulding and Supportive Filling

Etac LeanOnMe Cushions are filled with a granulated foam that's specially designed to allow limbs to comfortably sink and then be held in the desired position. It also has elastic properties that allow the pillow to repeatedly bear weight, absorb and redistribute pressure.

Includes a Waterproof Pillow Cover

Included with this model of the LeanOnMe Basic is a protective and breathable cover with a polyester outside and a polyurethane membrane. It's waterproof and easy to wipe clean with a disinfectant solution, making it really ideal for patients with incontinence issues. The inside of the cover also features quilted fabric for comfort.

Prefer a Softer Pillow Cover?

While the pillow cover that is supplied with this cushion priorities hygiene and easy cleaning, the same model cushion is also available with a soft touch cover.

Specialised Support For Small Body Parts

This miniature model of the Etac LeanOnMe is is designed to give close support to small body parts. Ankles, undersides of knees and hands can be hard to support with larger pillows because of their size and the LeanOnMe Mini is a fantastic solution

Fill in Gaps Between Larger Positioning Cushions and Mattress

When using a larger positioning cushion for support, there can be gaps between it and a bed or chair. This is particularly common if the pillow is not lying flat or the patient is resting at an angle. The Etac Mini can fill gaps like these, without comprising the soothing support that the larger pillow is providing.

Can Also Help Relax Patients and Reduce Anxiety

Enclosing a patient in positioning cushions can gently stimulate their sense of touch to help with agitation and reduce anxiety and anger.

  • Inside: 75% Lyocell, 25% Modal

Care Instructions

• Can be machine washed at a max. temperature of 80ºC
• Can be tumble dried on low temperature - max. temperature of 60ºC.
• Do not use solvents or bleach
• Do not iron
• Remove inner cushion before washing
