The sheets also help to reduce the risk of patients developing bed-related injuries like pressure sores, by improving patient mobility.

Specially Engineered Fabric

The Cromptons Reusable Blue Flat Slide Sheets are made using a specially designed fabric called Transtex. The fabric is coated with silicone on either side to make the Slide Sheet have as little friction with the bed and patient as possible. This enables better patient mobility while in bed and easier patient repositioning.

Durable Design

This Cromptons Flat Slide Sheet pack is made with durability in mind. The sheets are suitable for laundering and so can be reused for continued patient comfort.

Allowing you to select the size that you need according to your patient requirements, the Cromptons Reusable Flat Slide Sheet Pack is available in three different sizes that range from standard to bariatric ones. How Do I Use the Slide Sheet?

To use the slide sheet, you must do so in accordance with the proper patient handling technique. Firstly, place the sheet under the patient, moving the patient accordingly. Make sure that the sheet is secure and that the patient is positioned centrally on top of the sheet. Grasp the sheet firmly at its edge and move the patient to your required position.

Maintenance of the Slide Sheets

The Cromptons Flat Slide Sheets can be washed between each use, however you must wash the sheets in accordance with the standard hospital laundry guidelines. You can view the hospital guidelines here. Lightly soiled sheets may be wiped clean with a good quality, sterilisation fluid.

Please note that this product is not intended for lifting. Any patient manoeuvres that are carried out while using this product should be done without lifting.

How to Claim Your VAT Exemption
