Product Details

Low Back Netted Lifting Sling

Designed for use in most common lifting situations, the Low Back Netted Lifting Sling is a standard model sling for more active users. Perfect for sitting transfers between the bed and wheelchair, it holds the patient in an upright seated position as they are being moved, and is ideal for those who have good torso stability. The airy, polyester net material allows the sling to be kept under the patient after the transfer is complete.

Full Security

The Low Back Netted Sling is a functional and comfortable lifting tool, and is quick and easy for the carer to apply in preparation for a transfer or a lift. It features divided leg sections, meaning that the patient does not sit on the sling and is instead supported from the tailbone up to under the arms, giving the patient a feeling of full security.

Features of the Low Back Patient Lifting Sling

  • Divided leg supports for comfort
  • Easy for the caregiver to apply and remove
  • Low back so the user is supported from under the legs and tailbone up to the underarms
  • Seven different sizes to get an individualised fit
  • Standard model, suits most users with good torso stability
  • Keeps the patient in an upright seated posture
  • Pocket at lower edge for easier application

Breathable Polyester Fabric

This sling allows for comfortable and safe seated transfers from bed to wheelchair, or vice versa, for fairly active users who have good stability and strength in their torso. The breathable, polyester net material is designed to be left under the patient after transfer, meaning that the user remains sitting comfortably on the sling until they need to be lifted again.

Sizing of the Low Back Sling

The Low Back Netted Sling can often be used for both 2 and 4-point suspension. It is essential to ensure that the width of the Sling Bar is appropriate for the sling size and the patient’s status and capacity.

The sling comes in a choice of seven different sizes. Please refer to the table below for more information about the measurements of each sling and the weight load that has been recommended each size should carry.
