Who Can Benefit from Using This Brace?

Suffering from multiple ligament injuries will cause a huge amount of instability around the joint and make walking both difficult and painful. For effective assistance and a comfortable wear this knee stability brace will help support your leg as you work on returning to a natural range of movement and get your mobility back.

What Conditions Will the Brace Assist With?

Designed with six straps that apply pressure at four key points to fulfil the role of injured cruciate ligaments, this brace is comfortable with adjustable straps and a non-slip lining, ensuring that it will help you on the road to recovery from serious knee injuries such as:

  • Collateral Ligament Injuries
  • Knee Instability Resulting from Combined Injuries
  • Ruptured Cruciate Ligament
  • Post-Operative Treatment After Ligament Surgery (ACL, LCL, MCL, PCL)

What is CI?

Relating to knee injuries, CI stands for Combined Instabilities meaning there has not just been one ligament injury but multiple tears affecting ligaments and seriously impacting the knee's regular functioning. While one ligament injury or tear can be serious, suffering multiple can negatively impact your quality of life and that's why this CI Brace provides exceptional support.

Four Point Pressure Application

Chaneco's CI Knee Stability Brace functions by applying pressure at four key points on your leg, the upper and mid-thigh, below the knee and at the top of your calf. Kept in place by six straps with dynamic knee joints, the brace is then able to mirror the way in which your ligaments would work were they to function properly.

Dynamic Joint

Recovering from an operation or serious cruciate ligament injury is difficult enough without a stiff or resistant brace. The Chaneco CI Knee Stability Brace features polycentric joints at the knee which bend smoothly and dynamically for easy flexion and extension control. This means the brace won't cause you any difficulty on your road to recovery.

How to Wear the Knee Stability Brace?

To fit the knee brace, begin in a seated position with your knee bent at a 30° angle and slide the brace on so that it is one to two cm above the middle of your kneecap. For ease of use the straps are then numbered in the order which they should be fastened. Before fastening the sixth and final strap return to a standing position, the brace should now be held firmly in place.

Non-Slip Quality Fit

This lightweight brace is designed with a non-slip lining to prevent the brace from moving out of its optimum position during wear. This lining also ensures that your leg will be comfortable and the brace will apply the exceptional protection that it is intended for.

Is the Brace Easy to Adjust?

The straps use a hook and loop system for a high level of adjustability, and they can be made tighter or looser depending on the level of compression which is comfortable for you. Thanks to the easily adjustable design, you can trust that the brace will be a comfortable fit whatever your leg shape.

Cushioned for A Comfortable Wear

Located at your knee joint are two air cushioned condyle pads making sure that there is no friction between the device and your leg. These pads work alongside the non-slip padding that lines the aluminium body of the brace to ensure absolute comfort, even throughout long periods of wear.
