What Is a Zafu Cushion?

Traditionally, a zafu is a round cushion used for meditation. It features curved edges so that your knees are lower than your hips, to put your spine in a more natural position. The round sides also prevent discomfort from prolonged sitting. Cushions help to stabilise the user in a natural sitting position.

Why Use the Yoga-Mad Round Zafu Meditation Cushion?

Though it should be the opposite, meditation can be uncomfortable for some yogis, as it requires a straight spine and good posture to maintain alertness. The Zafu Meditation Cushion is ideal for users who struggle to keep an upright position, as sitting on it tilts the pelvis so that it is in agreement with the spine.
