The Evacusafe Stairclimber includes a seat, arm rests, leg rests, a safety belt and a control panel. The user has to sit in the chair where they can operate the climber via the control panel which is on the arm rest. The climber will start moving up or down steps one step at a time, with an automatic break ensuring that the LIFTKAR PT is manoeuvred easily to your destination.

The device includes an UP/DOWN function on both arms and can be set to three speed settings, a single-step mode and a continuous mode, meaning that it can tackle most types of stairs. The climber can ascend up to 18 steps per minute, can be charged via a supplied charger and can be used for users who weigh up to 160kg.
