What Can the Geemarc CL595 Big Button Telephone Do to Help Me?

The Big Button telephone is extra-loud and easy to use, but it also has several other functions. The phone features an SOS function for emergencies, and an answering machine for if you miss that important call. It also features a memory function for single-touch dialling of four numbers, and can hold a further 50 contacts to save you searching endlessly for numbers!

Who Is the Telephone For?

The phone is ideal for the hard of hearing, with the volume reaching up to 50dB and a speaker phone. Those with dexterity issues will find the large, clear keys easy to use. Dementia sufferers will appreciate the 3 picture contacts, as well as the reassurance of the SOS function.

There is a choice of four languages for the voice announcement: English, German, French and Dutch.

What Is the Phone's SOS Function?

The phone features an SOS button. Four emergency numbers can be saved so they can be dialled quickly and easily in event of an emergency. It is possible to record an emergency voice message, to be played out and help you remember any essential next steps.

How Does the Answering Machine Function?

The answering machine allows for 15 minutes of recording time. It also features a slow reading function, which plays the messages slowly for easy hearing. The phone also allows you to record voice memos for other users of the phone so you can leave memos while you pop out to the shops. 

Can I Connect This Phone to My Internet Modem?

Yes, if you subscribe to a digital phone line from your landline provider, this phone can be connected by plugging the telephone cord directly into your internet modem.

How Does the Talking Help Function Work? 

This function means the phone announces the Caller ID number when you have received a call. All you have to do is record the name of the contact, and it will read it out when they phone. The telephone also offers the option to block all numbers other than those from a VIP listed number, to avoid any unwanted callers.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Bought on behalf of partially deaf and visually impaired person. I found setting it up for her simple requirements was not straightforward. The instruction leaflet was incomprehensible. The online instructions were better. She only uses the 3 photo memory buttons with an added large letter on each to distinguish the contact.

My Mum bought this for herself, as here old one did not have call display, she absolutely loves it can tilt caller display so she can see it from her seat with out moving forward. Easy to use big buttons and speaker phone as she is hard of hearing.

This phone was perchased for my nearly 99 year old neighbour who is very deaf it was quite impossible for her to hear people on the phone but now she can with the added sos button. Excellent product

She says it’s over complicated!
