How Do I Use the Sigvaris Rolly?

Once you have wrapped your stocking around the Rolly, you simply gently run it up your leg or arm and it will apply the stockings all the way to the top. Please watch the video below for a demonstration:

Sizing of the Sigvaris Rolly

The Sigvaris Rolly Compression Garment Aid has a circumference of 72cm. If you are unsure whether or not this is suitable for your needs, please measure the circumference of your leg at the broadest part necessary. For calf-length stockings, this should be at the calf and for thigh-length stockings, this should be at the thigh.

How Wide Can the Rolly Stretch?

This garment aid can stretch to an exceptional max circumference of 72cm, which means a diameter of 22.9cm. This is appropriate for almost all legs and arms.

What an ingenious device this is ! We saw it demonstrated at my husband’s Lower Limb clinic and realised that we really would need one. The support socks would be nigh impossible to get on and off without it. It does take practice and You Tube is helpful although I could not immediately see why the sock had to be put on an arm to start with !

Although the product was ingenious unfortunately my son could not control the use of it due to his lack of dexterity.

Sometimes the rolly does not fold under the stocking and it balloons out making it impossible to remove the stocking

I bought this prior to surgery but didn't have to wear compression stockings after all. I've kept it in cased I need it in the future.
