Who Needs a Commode?

Commodes are ideal for patients who spend most of their time in bed, as it means they can have an accessible toilet within reach. Depending on their condition, they can either walk the short distance or be lifted onto the chair. Elderly or disabled individuals who are weak, unsteady, or prone to falling, may also require a commode as a safer alternative to walking to the bathroom.

Constructed for Stability and Flexibility

The Commode Chair is made from aluminium and plastic to provide extra stability. The back is able to hold the user up, requiring little strength on their part while the commode is in use. An added bonus is that the Swift Commode also has the flexibility to adapt to uneven floors, so that users can place the chair wherever it is required. The chair can also be converted into a toilet frame for use over the toilet by removing the backrest and commode pan. 

Adapts to Ideal Seating Position

The legs of the Armrest Commode Chair are height-adjustable, meaning that users are able to find their optimal seating position for easy and comfortable use. Alongside this, the lightweight armrests can be simply removed so that the chair is accessible from the side as well as the front. This is ideal for individuals who struggle standing up, as it provides the option to side transfer. As the armrests are mounted directly onto the toilet, there is no need to drill into walls or floors.
