Achilles Tendon Protector

The Achilles tendon is the largest tendon in your body and one of the most important. When something goes wrong in this area, it can cause huge difficulties in day-to-day life by making ambulation difficult or impossible.

The Achilles Tendon Protector is made from an elastic fabric containing a specially shaped active gel pad which provides superb cushioning for the Achilles tendon following an acute injury or chronic condition. It features an elastic fabric sleeve that gives comfort, support and mild compression to promote healing.

Prevents Bed Sores

The Achilles Tendon Protector has the additional function of preventing heel bed sores. This makes it ideal for overnight use.

The gel pad helps to soften the impact of heel landing but the support itself is stretchy but rather loose over foot. It was described universal fitting but the package is marked large and I need medium so will need to get another one that fits better.

Excellent service from Health and Care as usual. Item delivered in a couple of days after ordering. Purchased for my wife, who has Achilles tendonopathy. Only had it for e few days but she says it does seem to be helping a bit, although too soon to assess any lasting benefit.

I can't believe how much relief this has given me. After wearing flat shoes I strained my Achilles tendon and got a lump on it, I wore this for around a week and the pain has lessened considerably. I was slightly skeptical but it really did help
