What Are the Features On the Lower Stump Simulator?

The Life/Form lower stump is designed in the shape of a prone patient with legs slightly abducted. One leg is amputated below the knee, and the other above the ankle.

How Realistic Is the Lower Stump Simulator?

This trainer has been designed with stumps that are very similarly formed in the traditional way, making it an ideal demonstration tool. When you compress the trainer, the material responds just like a real patient for a life-like training experience.

What Procedures Can I Perform On this Simulator?

This Life/Form simulator can be used to practise most standard bandaging procedures as well as attachment of prosthetic devices. The lower torso is long enough to allow carrying the bandage around the body over the uninvolved hip at the level of the iliac crest.

Note: There is no embedded palpable skeletal material.

Care and Maintenance of the Lower Stump Bandaging Simulator

• Normal soil accumulated on the surface of the simulator can be removed with mild soap and lukewarm water. 
• Most kinds of adhesive bandages can easily be removed. Use only Life/Form Glue-Off to get rid of residual adhesives.
• Solvents or corrosive materials will damage the simulator.
• Never place simulator on any kind of printed material as they will transfer indelible stains.
