The arrhythmia/pacing simulator recreates 17 paediatric heart rhythms and 17 adult rhythms. With an external pacer, you can simulate electronic capture as well as cardioversion with manual, semiautomatic, or automatic defibrillation.

How Do I Use the IV Arm and Hand?

Put a drop of either dish detergent or surgical lubricant onto tip of each connector on reservoir tubes and connect to the silicone tubes at the right shoulder of manikin.

How Do I Connect the Brachial Pulse?

Attach bulb to connector at the end of the clear tubing on left arm. Gently compress to activate pulse.

Lubrication and Intubation

Lubricate the ET tube with KY Jelly (supplied). Trainer will accept up to a 3.5 ET tube and can be intubated orally or nasally. ET tube can accept simulated medication (water).

You should only use water based lubricants - never petroleum based. A tube of lubricant is included in this kit.

How Do I Clean this Manikin?

You should clean the manikin in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Do not fully immerse in water. Allow to dry naturally.
