How Does the Pneumatic Pump System Work?

The Ossur Formfit Walker Boot uses an intuitive pneumatic pump system to help alleviate pain and swelling. It works by inflating air cells within the boot to increase the level of compression, which in turn improves circulation and stimulates recovery. Adjusting the level of inflation is very straightforward, simply press the big blue button at the front of the boot to inflate, and use the clearly marked decompression valve to deflate.

Shock Absorbent Sole

Walking on an injured foot can potentially cause pain and reinjury if not properly supported. To ensure isn't the case, Formfit Walker Boot has been fitted with a special shock-absorbent sole that reduces the impact on heel strike while walking. In addition, a low, wide rocker bottom promotes a natural walking motion.
