The Bauerfeind SacroLoc Back Support provides targeted support to reduce pain around the sacroiliac joint, between your lower spine and your pelvis. It can be worn under clothing to relieve pressure, provide cushioning, and stimulate circulation to promote healing.

What Is the SacroLoc Back Support?

The Bauerfeind SacroLoc Back Support is a stabilising orthosis that has been designed to relieve pressure on the pelvis and symphysis (cartilaginous joint between the two bones). This helps to relieve pain, while the cushion pads gently massage the sacroiliac joints to stimulate circulation to promote healing.

Who Can Benefit from the SacroLoc Back Support?

Whether you only suffer from occasional lower back pain or you require a support to help treat a specific condition, the Bauerfeind SacroLoc Support may help to reduce your pain and discomfort. How Does the SacroLoc Back Support Work?

Unlike many basic back supports, which can offer minimal pain relief during healing, the Bauerfeind SacroLoc Back Support utilises a range of supportive features to ensure you get the best relief possible. Please see the annotated diagram below for more details.

  1. Two-Part Friction Pad with Massage Nubs: the friction pad and massage numbs direct tension and pain relief where it is required most.
  2. Anatomically Contoured Design: The anatomical contouring of the SarcoLoc means you'll receive the most comforting and supportive fit possible.
  3. Knitted Fabric and Adjustable Tension Straps: As the SacroLoc Support Belt combines non-elastic knitted fabric with individually adjusted tension straps, you can enjoy excellent control of movement of your lumbar spine and SI joint.
  4. Widened Finger Loops: The widened finger loops allow you to fasten and secure the SacroLoc in place as easily as possible. This is particularly useful if you find too much movement to be painful.
  5. Low-Profile Design: The slim and flat fastening with soft edges ensures that you can comfortably wear the SacroLoc under clothing. This way, you can continue to receive support as you go about your day.

Which Size of the SacroLoc Back Support Do I Need?

The Bauerfeind SacroLoc Back Support is available in seven sizes, based on pelvic circumference (as shown in the diagram). Please consult the table below to see which size is best for you.

How Easy Is the Bauerfeind SacroLoc Support to Fasten?

The Bauerfeind SacroLoc Support Belt has been designed to be as easy to fasten as possible. The widened finger loops ensure can can manoeuvre and secure the belt in place with minimal exertion.

What Is the SacroLoc Back Support Made From?

The SacroLoc belt is made from a combination of non-elastic and elastic knit, providing a comfortable belt that you can continue to wear throughout the day. The material is also breathable, allowing for the circulation of air and improved comfort.

Can I Wear the SacroLoc Under Clothing?

Yes! With a flat and slim design, and an anatomically contoured shape, the BauerFeind SacroLoc Back Support can be worn under clothing. This helps to ensure that you can continue to enjoy the pain-relieving support of the SacroLoc as you go about your day.

An expensive support but replaced one of the cheaper, simpler ones. I can stand & walk longer when wearing it and effective when sitting too. Worth the extra.

Alleviated my pelvic girdle pain

I’m currently pregnant and have developed severe pelvic girdle pain, I use the belt when I’m expecting to walk for a while and it really stabilises my pelvis. the pain instantly goes and I like the fact it has extra fastenings to ensure it’s as tight as possible.
It’s difficult to sit down with it however my physio has said I shouldn’t be sitting for long periods with it

Very pleased with the quality of the product. Think it is a bit pricey but have nothing to compare it with.

It is comfortable and can easily be worn under clothing. Reason for only 3 stars I am not too sure how much it is helping my condition. Partly because of the lack of a proper diagnosis [long waiting lists etc] not certain if it is the SI joint causing the pain.
Am not disappointed and will just give it time. Pretty convinced it will help in the long term.

Having suffered with back pain for the last 20 years and having bought numerous supports, I can honestly say this support is by far the best. The pain is getting less and less every day.

I bought the sacroliac back support after being diagnosed with sacroiliac joint problems and poor stabilty in my back as a result of my cancer treatment. I'd had physio for some time with only minimal improvement and was discharged abrubtly after being told they couldn't do anymore for me. I had asked if this support belt would help and was told not to use it by the physio as it would make my joint pain and stability issue worse.

In desperation I bought it recently and am I glad I did because since using it I now have more stability and can do more as a result. Also more importantly I am free of pain, as prior to this I had to use a hot water bottle everyday for relief. I only use it when I go a walk or intend to do some gardening etc or for popping out to visit family but I can't believe how much it has helped me and I will be calling my physio and telling her so. Thank you so much you don't know how much difference this has made to my life.

Having tried various other supports and found them to be of little help this has been the best on the market and supports in the right places , also my osteopath says it is a good support, well worth the money

My wife has had persistent back pain since a fall. Painkillers have proven useless, but the SacroLoc has now provided her with much needed relief. It's proving a real lifesaver.
