The Limbo Half Arm Plaster Cast and Dressing Protector features an innovative durable waterproof protector, designed to keep your plaster or dressing dry while bathing and showering. 

The Limbo Half Arm Plaster Cast and Dressing Protector is a self-sealing, self-supporting garment which prevents the penetration of water to plaster casts and wound dressings on arms during bathing. It is simple, comfortable and non constricting to use, and will last through the average user’s duration of treatment. The Limbo provides a significant quality of life improvement for the user. It is a non-sterile product and is primarily intended for use in a bath or shower.

The LimbO Half Arm Plaster Cast and Dressing Protector provides a significant quality of life improvement for the user. It enables the wearer to be able to enjoy the simple pleasures of bathing and showering with a wound or cast that must be kept dry.

Sizing Specifications

There are three versions available for the Half Arm Protector depending on your weight. Please select your option based on the tables below.

Version Weight Arm Circ.
Light Under 8 stone (50kg) 22 - 25cm
Average 8 to 11 stone (50 to 70kg) 25 - 29cm
Heavy 11 - 17 stone (70 to 108kg) 30 - 39cm
Version Max Cast Circ.
Light 33cm
Average 40cm
Heavy 44cm

Guidelines

Check that the rubber seal remains undamaged before using. Carefully follow the fitting instructions for your LimbO to ensure that it is watertight.

You are then free to enjoy your shower or bath safe in the knowledge that your wound or plaster will remain dry. The LimbO should not be worn for more than 20 to 30 minutes at a time, as the trapped air gets quite warm which can cause condensation.

After use, follow the simple guidelines in the fitting instructions to ensure that your LimbO will last through the average user’s duration of treatment.

This LimbO protector will seal 10cms above the elbow.  It can be used in baths, showers and should not be used when swimming.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

This product was recommended to me by the hospital. I ordered it, and received it promptly. The ordering was easy, and customer contact supportive and approachable. The Limbo itself is great. Simple really in its design, it is of good quality, and dries quickly. Easy to wear, it provides reassurance to me when in the shower. Also a reminder that I shouldn't try to use that arm!
