The LimbO Elbow Plaster Cast, Dressing and PICC LIne Protector features an innovative durable waterproof protector, designed to keep your plaster or dressing dry while bathing and showering. 

The Elbow Plaster Cast , Dressing and PICC Line Protector is a self-sealing, self-supporting garment which prevents the penetration of water to plaster casts and wound dressings on elbows during bathing. It is simple, comfortable and non constricting to use, and will last through the average user’s duration of treatment. The Limbo provides a significant quality of life improvement for the user. It is a non-sterile product and is primarily intended for use in a bath or shower.

The LimbO Elbow Plaster Cast, Dressing and PICC Line Protector provides a significant quality of life improvement for the user. It enables the wearer to be able to enjoy the simple pleasures of bathing and showering with a wound or cast that must be kept dry.

Guidelines

Check that the rubber seal remains undamaged before using. Carefully follow the fitting instructions for your LimbO to ensure that it is watertight.

You are then free to enjoy your shower or bath safe in the knowledge that your wound or plaster will remain dry. The LimbO should not be worn for more than 20 to 30 minutes at a time, as the trapped air gets quite warm which can cause condensation.

After use, follow the simple guidelines in the fitting instructions to ensure that your LimbO will last through the average user’s duration of treatment.

This LimbO protector will seal 10cms above the elbow & 10cms below the elbow.

The LimbO elbow cast, dressing and picc line  protector is a waterproof protector for adults who require elbow protection only, for example to cover a PICC line while taking a bath or shower. The seal grips above and below the limb joint.

There are 3 versions available for the Elbow Protector depending on your weight.

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

My limbo is easy to use and has kept the dressing dry on my arm following a minor op with stitches. Due to this the wound has not been damp so no infection and healed up nicely. This is a great concept and product.
I would use this product again if ever needed!

quite an expensive item but very effective and I'm glad I bought it. It has kept my PICC line totally dry meaning that I can shower without worrying about getting it wet.

We needed a PICC line protector for my partner undergoing chemotherapy. The sizing worked well - I certainly found it helpful to measure rather than relying on his previous sizing. Kept it clean and dry when showering and made life a lot easier,
