What is the Footshield Hex Insole?

When selecting the model of Post-Operative boot, you can choose a model either with or without a Footshield Hex Insole. The unique design of this insole allows specific offloading of pressure on the plantar area of the foot, making it ideal for reducing foot strain while recovering from injury or surgery.

The Footshield II Post-Operative Boot features the same high-quality design as the Footshield Post-Operative Shoe, but with an extended heel and greater height. This means that it covers a larger area and may be warmer and more effective for walking in cold and/or windy environments.

Is the Post-Operative Boot Adjustable?

To give bandaged or swollen feet the room needed, the Footshield II Boot features an adjustable strap for customisable use based on personal preference. The Velcro straps allow the wearer to secure the shoe as loosely or firmly as they find comfortable.

Does the Footshield II Boot Fit Either Foot?

Yes, the Wound Boot is designed to easily fit your left or your right foot. Please note that this purchase includes a single Wound Shoe.

Will This Post-Operative Boot Fit My Dressing?

Yes, thanks to long straps and velcro closures, the Post-Operative Boot is highly adjustable. This means it can easily accommodate all types of dressings.
