While some arm slings are available in different sizes, the Actimove Sling is supplied in a universal size to fit most users. This is particularly useful if you're suffering from discomfort as a result of your injury and cannot measure the length of your arm or its circumference without experiencing pain. The support is made with a Y-tab and roll format that can be easily adjusted by clinicians and patients alike.

All too often, wearing an arm or shoulder immobiliser places unnecessary pressure or strain on the neck. Constructed with wide and soft foam, the Actimove Sling distributes forces evenly around the neck to improve your comfort throughout use.

Prevents the Limb from Moving Out of Place

The Actimove Sling is designed with non-stretch foam material that maintains the position of the limb during use without slipping out of place. This helps ensure that you get the support you need as and when you need it without fear of discomfort or re-injury.

How Do I Use the Actimove Sling?

Please follow these instructions to use the Actimove Arm Sling effectively and safely:

1. Cut the required length of Actimove Sling
2. Attach a Y-tab hook at one end of the sling
3. Create a small loop using the Y-tab and slip over the arm just below the elbow
4. Take the sling under the arm, behind the back and then over the opposite shoulder
5. Wrap the support around the wrist of the patient and attach using a second Y-tab
6. A single loop is an alternative application to the one described above
