How Do I Switch My Alarms On/Off?

Before you set the time of your alarms, you must first ensure your Vibratime alarm setting is switched on. You may switch this setting off later or whenever you like.

To turn your alarms on/off:

There are two buttons on your Vibratime. Press the left button ONCE. You will see A1OF (which stands for Alarm 1 OFF)  and A1ON (which stands for Alarm 1 ON) on the screen. Press the right button ONCE to turn on or off.

How Do I Set an Alarm On the Vibratime?

The Vibratime allows you to set up to 10 silent vibrating alarms daily, and you are able to review and switch each one ON or OFF whenever you like.

To set the time for Alarm 1:

  1. With A1ON displayed, press the left button once to see the alarm time on the LCD
  2. Press the left button for 3 seconds to enter the setting and adjust the hours (which appear on the left side)

You may now set any further alarms that you would need (2- 10) by following the same instructions. Just make sure that when setting the times for each alarm you select the correct alarm on the screen i.e. (A2ON, A3ON etc.)

Who Can Benefit from the Vibratime Vibrating Reminder Watch?

While the watch is especially useful for elderly users and children, anyone who has trouble remembering can benefit from Pivotell's Reminder Watch. Ideal uses include:

  • Medication Management: If you need to take medication a number of times a day the Vibratime Alarm Watch can help you keep track of your schedule.
  • Drinking Water: You can use the regular reminders of the Reminder Watch to ensure you stay hydrated through the day.
  • Reminders for Children: Whether your child needs to be reminded to use the toilet, or has a medication schedule when away from home, the Vibratime Watch can help them keep track even when you're not there.
  • Any and All Reminders: With multiple alarms this Reminder Watch can help you keep track of any important daily reminders.

Can This Medication Reminder Watch Be Worn By Children?

Yes, the Pivotell Vibratime Watch can be used as a children's vibrating watch. This is a great way of reminding children discreetly to go to the toilet, to drink water, or to return home at a specific time.

What Colours Does the Vibrating Watch Come In?

The Pivotell Vibratime Vibrating Reminder Watch is available in a range of colours:

  • Blue
  • Red
  • Pink
  • Purple
  • Grey

How Strong Is the Vibrating Medication Watch?

With strong vibrations that last for up to 20 seconds, the Pivotell Reminder Watch doesn't feature an audible alarm. This allows the reminder watch to be inconspicuous during your daily routine.

Does the Pivotell Vibratime Watch Also Show the Time?

During normal wear the Vibratime resembles a plain wristband, but at the press of the right-hand button the time will be displayed. The watch also shows the time during alarms, helping you keep track between alarms.

Can This Vibratime Vibrating Watch be Used for Children's Potty Training?

As well as reminders for personal medication, this watch is an ideal vibrating watch for potty training. Simply set the watch to your desired interval, to remind your child to use the toilet regularly.

Does the Vibratime Medication Reminder Require Batteries?

Powered by a rechargeable battery, the Vibratime Watch can be charged via the USB connector provided. The battery level can be checked by pressing the right-hand button twice. With a battery life of up to several days, the watch can be fully recharged in two hours.

How Long Will the Pivotell Watch Last Before Charging?

The Pivotell Vibratime includes a rechargeable battery. Depending on how many alarms you use, it will take approximately six days before your watch will require recharging. It will take around two hours to charge.

When Should I Charge the Pivotell Vibratime?

When possible, this reminder watch should be charged when it reaches the 30% battery mark, as opposed to charging only when the battery dies fully. Charging at this level is best, as alarms will have to be reset if the watch battery is allowed to die completely.

What Size is the Pivotell Vibrating Vibratime Watch?

The Pivotell Vibratime Watch is designed in one size with an adjustable strap that should fit most users; the strap is approximately 21cm long. To wear the watch, you need a wrist circumference between the following measurements:

  • Minimum Wrist Circumference: 13cm

Great watch and wakes me up easily
Rating:
01 January 2024  |

This watch is comfotable to wear in bed and the alarm is fine for waking me up. I only marked it down a star because it's a bit awkward to get between the numerous alarms as you can only go forwards, so if you miss the one you want you have to start again.
I bought this because I'm hard of hearing and wanted something to wake me up.

Works effectively for the wearer, though a little frustrating to set the alarms
Rating:

I bought the watch for my husband, who has Parkinson's Disease and doesn't use a mobile phone. He has described it as effective, comfortable, unobtrusive, relatively inaudible and easy to turn off, which is exactly what he was looking for. Unfortunately, though, he is unable to set the alarms himself, and I generally have to set 7 alarms for slightly different times each day, and often have to change later ones in the course of the day, I find the process tedious, as so far I have found it impossible to set or modify later alarm times without having to review each one in order from the beginning (alarm 1). Using a mobile phone seems like child's play in comparison, but the watch definitely has its advantages for my husband.

Hi Elaine,

Many thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We really appreciate feedback from our customers, especially when they're so generous with the information they give us. This also helps us improve the quality of the information on our website so thanks very much.

With regard to your enquiry, I forwarded this issue on to the manufacturer who confirmed the following:

Unfortunately, the only way alarm times can be modified is by reviewing/scrolling through from Alarm #1. There is (as of yet) no way to jump between alarms instantly.

We hope this information helps and that we hear from you again in the near future.

Kind regards,

Seth at Health and Care

Gets my Granddaughter up for work. The only other option is someone waking her. Gives her independence. This device is cheap, simple to use, and reliable.

Difficulty reading the display
Rating:
13 July 2021  |

The vibrating alarm is just what I need and the watch is comfortable. However, I find the display difficult to read as the lights under the display are really too small for the sections each one is lighting up. I wear glasses for reading and have to put them on to read the display on this watch despite the size of the numbers/letters, which is a pain and I wouldn't have to do this if the light-up display was better designed.

Excellent product, just what we needed. Alarms are unobtrusive but obvious to the user. Bit fiddly to set up if your fingers are slow but you soon get the hang of it. So far have only needed to charge it once a week, and it's a quick charge. Can't read time in bright light but just needs shading. Vibrations sufficiently strong to wake me up but might not wake up heavier sleeper.

This is just what I needed to remind me to take my medication 5 times during the day.

It's not so easy to set up - you need a geeky type to help with this.

Only other downside is that it needs recharging more often than expected. Once a week would have suited me but it's once every 6 days.

Really easy to set the alarms, and it's also handy that it has a clock so you can just press to see what time it is.... Saves rummaging for my phone. It was dispatched promptly and was a really good price. I love the bright pink colour.
