The Hygiene Lifting Sling with Back Support is a transfer aid that is easy to apply and is helpful in aiding the carer to dress and undress the patient in connection with visits to the toilet. It has been designed for use by patients with adequate muscular tonus, has leg supports so that the patient feels secure in the moving and handling process, and an extended back support for additional comfort.

Comfortable and Supportive

The Hygiene Sling facilitates quick and easy application and removal, and also makes for easy dressing and undressing patients in connection with visits to the toilet. It has leg sections that mean that the patient does not sit on the sling, and instead the sling provides support from the tailbone up over the shoulders and under the legs. There is also an extended back support for those who need additional security during a lift.

Sizing of the Hygiene Lifting Sling

The Hygiene Lifting Sling with Back Support is available in a choice of seven different sizes, and is adaptable to be used in both 2- and 4-point suspension. It is essential to ensure that the width of the Sling Bar is appropriate for the sling size and the patient’s status and capacity.

Each size sling is recommended to bear a different weight load. Please refer to the table below for more information about the measurements and recommended user weights for each sling:

Which Hoists Can I Use the Sling With?

This sling is designed with loop fixings. It is designed for easy and secure attachment to all hoists with loop fixing compatibility.

Please note that the recommended weight is a guideline, and the sling should not exceed a load of 300kg.
