Barrier Socks

Well… these are the ugliest and most expensive, ill-fitting socks I’ve ever owned. I’ve had itch-related foot problems for around a year now, and have been trying all I can think of to resolve it. I figured I might be allergic to some constituent part of my shoes; so I bought these socks.
I’m bathing my feet with Epsom salts and applying moisturising cream; before putting on the socks.
To be fair, the socks do provide a good barrier inside shoes, and they are extremely easy to wash/dry. More importantly, after a week of treating my feet - the irritation has disappeared, and I am no longer being driven mad by the itching.
I’m still struggling to identify the shoes that caused me the problem in the first place; but the barrier socks have done their job very successfully. I have rated them ‘4 stars’ only because they are so pricey.
