The Timesco XLED Laryngoscope Handle is designed for use with laryngoscope blades conforming to ISO 7376. The fully autoclavable laryngoscope handle features a long-life powerful LED bulb for bright-white illumination, combining hygiene maintenance and reliability in busy medical environments.

Who Can Use the XLED Laryngoscope Handle?

The XLED Laryngoscope Handle is designed for use by trained medical professionals during laryngoscope procedures. The handle is suitable for use with ISO 7376 green-fitting reusable and disposable laryngoscope blades.

How Hygienic Is the XLED Handle? 

The metal XLED Larygoscope Handle is fully autoclavable (excluding the battery). This allows it to be thoroughly cleaned in between use, reducing risks of cross contamination between patients.

How Powerful Is the LED Bulb?

The Timesco XLED Handle is fitted with a powerful 3V LED bulb for excellent flicker-free illumination. This provides a lux output of 40,000 at the bulb, with a consistent colour temperature of 5,000(k). The metal collar is polished to reflect the light towards the fibre core of a blade, which helps to offer maximum illumination.

How Comfortable Is the XLED Handle?

It's important that you can hold onto the XLED Handle comfortably during examinations, and the knurled handle design offers excellent grip. 

Which Blades Can I Use with the XLED Handle?

As the XLED is not provided with any blades, you are able to use any blade that meets your requirements, as long as it features a green-fitting design conforming to ISO 7376.  This allows you to change the blade type you require in between use, increasing the versatility of the XLED for a range of different patient needs.
