The Actimove Post-Operative ROM Knee Brace supports and stabilises an injured knee during post-surgical rehabilitation, either immobilising it or limiting its movement for a seamless healing process. Enabling a range of motion, its hinged design allows the brace to be set in flexion from -10° to 120° with extension from -10° to 90°, and 'quick lock' keys can be applied to keep the knee at 0°, 15° and 30°.

The Actimove Post-Op Knee Brace is a hinged knee braced, designed specifically to provide immobilisation to an injured knee as well as enable a range of motion. The brace can be adjusted to lock in place for full immobilisation of the knee, or can be adjusted and locked in at other angles for limited range of motion.

What Is a Hinged Knee Brace?

As in the name, hinged knee braces feature hinges, designed to provide more support and stability to the knee, and promote proper alignment during recovery. Non-hinged braces offer less support but are still useful depending on the circumstances and conditions.

For limited knee movement, the range of motion of the Actimove Post-Op ROM Knee Brace can be set in flexion from -10° to 120° and extension from -10° to 90° in increments of 10°. The angle the knee brace is set or adjusted to throughout treatment will depend on the stage of rehabilitation of the individual.

Quick Lock Keys Lock Brace in Position

Ensuring the brace can provide effective support during treatment, rehabilitation and recovery, 'quick lock' keys can be applied to keep the knee locked at 0°, 15° and 30°. This locking features also means quick and fast usage of the most used immobilisation positions, saving the need for adjustments.

Is This Actimove Knee Brace Adjustable in Length?

Yes, telescopic bars in the Actimove Knee Brace allow it to be adjusted in length to fit most patients. Additionally, the brace features easy to handle buckles for opening and closing so the straps do not need to be adjusted each time, saving the need for repeated fittings.

Its hook and loop straps can also be adjusted to the required lengths, and excess material can be trimmed and reattached using y-tabs, leaving no "hanging" straps that may cause patient discomfort during use.

This knee brace has a latex-free construction, making it suitable for those with latex allergies and/or sensitive skin.

How Do I Clean and Care For the Knee Brace?

Easy to clean, the padding of the Actimove Post-Operative Hinged Knee Brace can be washed by hand. On the days where the brace just needs a quick wipe, the frame of the brace and be cleaned with a damp cloth.
