Are These Gloves Suitable for White Finger?

White finger, a term commonly used to describe Raynaud's disease, can often be solved by minimising the heat loss from your hands. These gloves work to insulate your hands to keep your heat in, helping to defeat white finger and reduce any cold or discomfort you may feel.

Features of the Raynaud's Disease Deluxe Silver Mittens

The Raynaud's Disease Deluxe Mittens contain 12% silver thread in order to utilise silver's natural heat reflective properties. Silver has the highest 'Infrared Reflectivity' rating of any element at more than 95%, meaning that 95% of thermal energy that escapes from the hands will be reflected back in to the hand once it contacts the silver, rather than being lost as in conventional mittens and gloves. The mittens have therefore been designed so that the majority of the silver rests directly against the skin to ensure as much heat as possible is reflected back to hands.

Silver is also naturally anti-bacterial. As one of the world's oldest medical products, silver has been proven to prevent infections and eliminate odours which helps to keep the mittens more hygienic even with extended use. The 12% Silver Fibre Mittens even help to dissipate and stop static charges that can be painful for sufferers of Raynaud's Disease and other similar conditions.

The Raynaud's Disease Deluxe Silver Mittens feature a lightweight and flexible design that is suitable for operating a smartphone or cashpoint and even handling small change. The lack of seam on the mittens not only provides outstanding comfort but also helps to prevent irritation of skin conditions that can occur from tight fitting gloves.

Foundation Materials

The Raynaud's Disease Deluxe Silver Mittens are made from the following:

My son contracted sepsis, consequently he has nerve damage in his hands and they get very cold. These gloves are excellent at keeping them warm. Great service from Health and Care.

I bought these for my daughter who has Reynauds. Since she has started wearing these her hands have not been affected at all. Very impressed with product and will get some myself now.

The service I received was first class the mittens were delivered the day after I ordered them. So far I have not used the gloves enough to make a definitive decision on their long term effectiveness, therefore I have given them a 4 star rating.

THEY DO THE JOB
Rating:

Recommended for my cold fingers due to Raynaud's Disease, I ordered a pair. When they arrived, I must say I was disappointed. They were thin and flimsy, but having bought them, I thought I should at least try them. Well, they are just great! Lot's of 'give' in them, being so thin, so it's easy to perform tasks such as writing etc. They even work on my iPhone. (maybe the silver in them?) If there is a downside, it's that they get very wet with the slightest bit of moisture. Easily solved by a pair of waterproof over-mitts. Never had white fingers with them on, and when I've have white fingers then put them on, my fingers quickly return to normal. Excellent product which I can heartily recommend.
