What Is the Graduation of the Scale?

The smaller a scale's graduation, the more precisely it can show your weight. For instance, a scale with 10g graduation will show your baby's weight to the closest 10g. A graduation of 5g is impressively precise for a baby scale. 

What Is the HOLD Function?

Babies like to wriggle around, and the mechanical HOLD function is a good way to get a measurement from a restless infant. Press the HOLD button, and after 5 seconds the word 'HOLD' will stop flashing and the Beurer Scale will average out the baby's weight, and display it for 120 seconds. 

What Is a TARE Function?

The TARE function will allow you to reset the scales to zero, irrespective of whether there is anything on them. This means that you can put your baby's favourite blanket on the scale, reset the scale to zero, and then if you put your baby on the blanket their weight will appear on the scale without you first having to subtract the weight of the blanket.
