The Aircast AirSelect Standard Walker Boot is an excellent way of getting back on your feet following an injury. However, like any support, the walker boot is susceptible to normal wear and tear if used over long periods of time. When this is the case, the Aircast AirSelect Standard Walker Boot Replacement Kit is an excellent way of replacing worn parts of your walker boot without having to purchase a whole new device.

A replacement insole and liner for the AirSelect Standard Walker Boot is included in this kit. This helps ensure you continue feeling the benefits of SoftStrike technology use in the support.

Innovative SoftStrike Technology

 The Aircast AirSelect Standard Walker Boot Uses Innovative SoftStrike Technology

Designed with SoftStrike technology, the Aircast AirSelect Boot features a patented grid design that puts a matrix of shock-absorbing material in direct contact with the heel. This helps cushion the area to reduce heel loading and prevent impact-related stress in the area.

When this technology is coupled with a lightweight, low-profile rocker sole, the boot encourages a normal walking gait with less forefoot angulation. This helps prevent excessive knee hyperextension to reduce the likelihood that you suffer from re-injury.

Ultra Light Design

The Aircast AirSelect Walker Boot is constructed with a semi-rigid shell to provide ample protection to the area. The support is also crafted with structurally engineered vents to maximise airflow and minimise mass without compromising support. This helps ensure you remain comfortable even over long periods.

Duplex Technology

Every step you take with the AirSelect Walker Boot provides pulsating compression. This is because multiple aircells are layered within the semi-rigid shell for a massaging effect, which helps to reduce oedema.

The AirSelect Standard Walker Boot is available in five sizes, all of which are determined by UK shoe size. To find out which size you require, please refer to the table below.

Great replacement liner

Great to have a replacement liner - may seem an extravagance but being able to easily swap it out if liner gets wet is well worth it. Would recommend

Can be washed as needed which is important as wearing for 6 weeks it would get very sweaty and smelly. Could not wash and wear same day if weather bad as they have to dry naturally not in drier or on radiator. very good for that reason you can wash and wear with time to allowed to dry.

I was so pleased to acquire this as it was difficult to find on the internet. Having recently had surgery and needing to wear a boot for 3months I had to have a second insert to be able to wash one, wear one. It was exactly as described. Delivery was quick too.

Adequate but a bit over priced

This is made of the same type of foam in the original aircast liner. However, it is only held together by glued-on tabs that tend to loosen if you wash in a machine (delicate cycle). The area in front of the ankle is open which allows for some air flow. It's good as a back-up for your original liner when that is in the wash.

Better quality material than the ones issued by the NHS. However, not so keen on it not being stitched together at the sole. I'm sure there is a reason, but apart from ease of manufacture, I can't figure it out.
