Rolyan Sof Stretch Finger Extension Splint

The Rolyan Sof Stretch Finger Extension Splint provides dynamic force to assist the PIP (proximal interphalangeal) joint into extension with minimal extension of the MCP (metacarpophalangeal) joint (see diagram below). Ideal for PIP joint tightness and contractures and boutonniere deformity, the Rolyan Sof Stretch Finger Extension Splint features a simple to use yet highly effective design.

What Is the Rolyan Soft Stretch Splint For?

The Rolyan Soft Splint is designed to improve stretch, extension and curvation problems with your PIP (little finger) and MCP (thumb) joints. It can be used for:

Force extension of the PIP and MCP joint
Relieve tightness in the PIP and MCP joint
Relieve contractures in the PIP and MCP joint
Relief boutonniere deformity in the PIP an MCP joint

Easy to Use

The Rolyan Sof Stretch Finger Extension Splint has an angled distal pad, which reduces pressure by providing complete surface contact on the middle phalanx. It is easy to use, featuring a "P" on the proximal pad to remind the patient to apply the splint with the "P" near the palm.

Delivery adequate. When product arrived. Very flimsy. I doubt it will last very long as it almost feels too weak to use. I had one from the nhs after my op and it was same brand but 10 times better sadly

Finger spring

The extension splint worked well for a couple of weeks but the metal support has started to stick out through the foam which has become very uncomfortable to wear. It is a shame it didn't last longer. It has strengthened my fingers over the time I had it but it will take a long time for my fingers to straighten out. I was using it for my little finger (and occasionally my ring finger) which were fractured a few months ago.

Poor qualify

Less than 2 weeks of using it, the foam bits have come apart exposing the wire which is digging into my skin. I doubted the quality when I got the package and really disappointed with this purchase. The idea is great but much work needed on quality especially for the price!!!

Following a finger dislocation my finger was unable to straighten out. This little gadget has the ability to reduce swelling and guide your finger into the correct position. It works while it is on, but for any period of time off, it returns to being a swollen bent finger. My little gadget arrived with faults I think. Should have sent back really, the soft white part near the end of the finger was not secure and I had to reinsert the wire to stop it moving around. (Still not great to be honest) I have two of these, one which I received from the NHS physio the second I bought here. So, I know how the gadget should feel. The one I bought here, I believe has a fault. Please feel free this send a replacement!
