What Size Cuff Should I Choose?

How Do I Use the Cuff?

For a step-by-step guide on how to use the cuff, please follow the instructions below:

Step One: Prepare the Cooler

Before you can start treatment, you must begin by setting up the cooler. Start by connecting the blue tube to the cooler. Fill the cooler to the line with water and top with ice. Place the insulation disk on top of the ice and gently close the cooler lid. Allow up to five minutes for the water to cool before use.

Step Two: Apply the Cuff

If better mobility is required, open the cuff straps and remove the cuff bars before inserting your hand. (See figure 1).

Place the cooler on a stable surface, the base of the cooler should be level with the cuff. Plug the cooler into a power supply and turn on by connecting the cord to the lid.

Step Four: Refill Cooler

To refill after use, unplug the cooler and repeat step one.

Protect Your Skin

Before using the cuff, you must wrap the skin of the affected area with a bandage or cloth to create a bridge between yourself and the cuff. This is to prevent you from contracting further injury while using the device like skin burn. At no point during treatment should the skin and the cuff be in direct contact.

How Long Should I Use the Cuff for with Each Session?

You can use the cuff to provide cryotherapy for up to two hours with each use. It is recommended that you leave a period of at least 20 minutes between uses to allow for rest and recovery.

How Do I Clean the Cuff and IC Cooler?

To clean the cuff and cooler, simply hand wash each unit with a mild detergent and hot water before rinsing and leaving to air dry.
