Wrist Supports for Ganglion Cysts
A ganglion cyst can occur on any joint in the body but is commonly found on the wrists, back of the hands or the fingers. The cyst is a fluid-filled sack that forms under the skin, although it is not apparent why they develop. The most common belief is the fluid that protects the tendons and joints leaks out and collects together to form the cyst. Although the cyst is not harmful, they can be painful. They can disappear over time on their own without medical intervention.
