Nuform Ventilated Elastic Wrist Brace

The Nuform Ventilated Elastic Wrist Brace is an 18cm wrist brace made from ventilated elastic, which provides gentle compression and excellent breathability. This wrist brace features a vinyl pocket with an aluminium palmar bar for increased support and stabilisation, which can be shaped to provide a personalised fit. 

Sizing of the Ventilated Elastic Wrist Brace

This elastic wrist brace comes in several sizes, from extra small to extra large, based on wrist circumference. To decide which size is best for you please consult our sizing image and table below, then select your desired option from the drop down menu at the top of the page.

How Much Wrist Stabilisation Does This Brace Provide?

This orthopaedic support offers a fantastic stabilisation at the wrist. By stabilising the joint, the wrist brace ensures that there is no excessive movement relative to the surrounding structures. The support offered by this brace combined with the unrestricted finger and thumb movement allows you to complete daily tasks without interrupting the healing process. 

What Are the Benefits of Elasticated Fabric for Wrist Supports?

The elastic material provides gentle compression for the tissue underneath the wrist brace, and this helps to avoid excess fluid build-up and improves circulation to the injured area. This results in a decrease in swelling and helps the injury to heal faster. The elasticated wrist also means that as swelling is reduced, the wrist brace will continue to provide the correct level of support.

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Great design and comfort

Ordered yesterday lunchtime and arrived today. I was a little disappointed to see velcro straps as they are not shown in the picture but the comfort of the support overrides this. I've only been wearing it for a few hours and I'm really impressed. I had been getting very sore skin between my thumb and forefinger from my previous support and that has instantly gone away with this much better design. I have had to adjust the straps a few times to get the right level of compression but that's to be expected. This is my first support with an integrated splint and I wish I had bought one sooner.

Wrist brace for wrist issues

I bought this on advice from my GP in an attempt to relieve Carpal Tunnel issues. This is likely to take up to 3 months, so I cannot say whether it helps at the moment. The brace is worn at night and so far it is comfortable enough. It has not effected my sleep at all.

Stiff and scratchy with sharp edges, totally unwearable. However able to return with no problems.
