The Gel Shell Splint is designed to be worn following an injury to the wrist, making it suitable for anyone looking to protect their wrist following an injury.

It will also be beneficial for anybody who has undergone carpal tunnel surgery, as it applies gentle pressure to the carpal tunnel incision site to help desensitise the area and prevent hypertophic scar formation.

Benefits of the Gel Shell Splint

Designed to provide protection to the wrist and related injuries, the Rolyan Gel Shell Splint is made from supportive materials. The outer fabric acts as a barrier against trauma, helping to reduce the risk of injuries worsening before they have had a chance to heal.

The inner Gel Shell pad disperses external pressure so that it is not targeted in one location, and the thumb and fingers are not restricted while wearing the splint to ensure that routine activities can still be conducted.

Sizing of the Gel Shell Splint

The Rolyan Gel Shell Splint is available for both the right and the left hand, and comes in a choice of three sizes. To determine the size required, measure from the ulnar border to the radial border across the palm.

Please note that this product should be washed by hand. The Gel Shell pad has a shelf life of approximately one year.
