The Ottobock Manu Immobil Wrist Support is an immobilising hand and wrist support especially useful for use after a fracture, immobilising the hand and wrist in a functional position. Constructed from advanced material, the Ottobock Manu Immobil Wrist Support offers extra comfort and is suitable for all day use.

Indication of uses for the Ottobock Manu Immobil Wrist Support

The Ottobock Manu Immobil is designed for use with the following;

• After fractures and luxations of the hand and wrist
• After wrist, carpal and metacarpal surgery.
• Treatment of acute conditions such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
• Severe sprains and Osteoarthritis

• 'SpaceTexz' material offers superior comfort with excellent padding
• Ability to adjust the wrist area and metacarpophalangeal joints via the integrated steel bar
• Comfortably lightweight for all day wear
• Washable pads and straps
• Polypropylene with an integrated steel joint bar
• Attached pad of SpaceTex (polyester, polyamide) and tie-down straps (polyamide) with hook and loop closure.

The Ottobock Manu Immobil can be used on either the left or right hand and is a Universal adjustable size. 

Care Instructions for the Ottobock Manu Immobil Wrist Support

• You can remove the pad and Velcro straps and wash the orthosis by hand at 30°C using a standard mild detergent.
• We recommend closing the hook & loop closures before washing to prevent any damage to them. 
• To avoid skin irritations, rinse the orthosis thoroughly so that all soap residue is removed. Do not expose to the sun and do not use oven or radiator heat for drying. Let the support air dry.
