Comfortable and Practical Design

The Basic Post-Operative Shoe features a padded nylon upper to ensure exceptional comfort, as well as adjustable return-loop buckles that make it easy to put on or take off. The shoe accommodates the oedematous (swollen) or bandaged foot without causing any unnecessary discomfort, ensuring post-operative care can be provided as easily and effectively as possible.

Will the Post-Op Recovery Shoe Affect My Walking?

Ensuring you can get back to going about your day is a top priority following an operation. The Basic Post-Op Shoe has a semi-rigid non-slip sole to allow the wearer to maintain a normal gait, in turn making it easier to carry out routine day-to-day tasks.

What Are the Advantages of Wearing a Post-Operative Shoe?

Wearing a padded recovery shoe after surgery can help reduce the chances of injuring your foot further and reduce the need for crutches, making daily life easier and more convenient. It also provides a non-slip surface that helps prevent accidents which could cause further injuries. The padding from the thick rubber sole can help reduce the impact from walking and the adjustable straps are perfect for fitting over swelling or bandages. Post operation shoes have also been designed specifically to change the distribution of your weight on your feet, decreasing pain and assisting recovery.

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Sizing wrong

Despite measuring my foot, shoe is a disaster far too big and wide but as its non returnable, and expensive for what it is with poor materials and no ankle support, I am having to use it until my doctor gets me another .

Ordered this for a size 6 shoe. I have a broken toe and only strapping so shoe is a little on the big side. If I ordered again I would buy for a size 5. Good delivery service & well packed. would use again.
