Why Choose FootActive Insoles?

These Orthotic Full Length Insoles have been developed in association with a dedicated team of Podiatrists as an effective and reliable way to ease the symptoms of plantar fasciitis. They are a specialist choice for anyone suffering from this condition, as well as those with achilles tendonitis or pain in the ball of the foot.

What is Plantar Fasciitis?

Plantar fasciitis is caused by straining the area of the foot under the heel and can be eased by wearing the right insole. It can be caused by wearing shoes or trainers with inadequate support or cushioning and the main symptom of this condition is pain on the bottom the foot, particularly around the heel and arch. This pain can increase while walking after resting or after exercising.

What is Achilles Tendonitis?

A common condition in runners, achilles tendonitis is caused by sudden, intense or repeated strain on the achilles tendon (which is the tissue at the back of the foot which connects the heel bone to the calf muscles). Symptoms include mild to severe pain, tenderness or stiffness in the back of the foot which can be eased or prevented with extra cushioning in footwear.

Are These Insoles Easy to Use?

Unlike some insoles out there, the Plantar Fasciitis Insoles can simply be unpacked and slotted into shoes. The specialist design allows them to adjust and mould to the wearer's shoes for optimum comfort.

How Can I Look After My New Orthotic Insoles?

To ensure long-lasting wear and comfort, your new insoles should be taken out of your shoes on a regular basis and wiped down with a warm, damp cloth or sponge. Please note that the insoles should be allowed to dry before placed back inside shoes, and should not be soaked in water or placed in direct heat.

Do These Full Length Insoles Provide Forefoot Support?

These insoles come with incorporated shock-absorbing pads in the forefoot and rearfoot. These extra-cushioned areas of the insole provide extra support, as well as reducing the shock these parts of the foot experience.

Shock Absorbing

When walking on hard or uneven terrain, the shock of the foot's impact on the ground can cause long-lasting damage to the ankles, knees and back. The thick cushioning of the FootActive Insoles reduces the shock of such an impact to instead absorb it, thus reducing the damage on the body.

Expert Design

The result of extensive research by a committed team of Podiatrists, these FootActive Insoles consist of a unique design intended to benefit the user on a day-to-day basis. The insoles are made up of a comfortable velours top layer, biomechanical support for the foot's longitudinal arch and transverse arch and premium poron pods in the heel and forefoot for extra cushioning.

Are These Insoles Suitable for All Shoes?

These Full Length Orthotic Insoles provide an unrivalled cushioning experience for the wearer. They can even be worn in work boots, trainers and formal shoes to provide all-round use.

I have worn them a couple of times and can definitely feel the support on the arch of my foot. However when I ordered them I wasn't sure what size to go for, I went for the S, but actually should have gone for XS. I am a size 5 shoe normally and I have ended up cutting the insole quite considerably to get it to fit in my shoes. Otherwise impressed with them, as good as the ones I was supplied with for my left foot by the NHS about 8 years ago.
