The Pro-Tec Metatarsal Lift Compression Pads provide a comfortable lift to the central (2nd, 3rd, and 4th) metatarsal heads. This will alleviate stress to the area and reduce strain to the metatarsal region.

Have used these in my running shoes for several years, and wouldn't not have them. Feels strange initially, but you soon don't notice and a lot of foot injuries averted.
