The ventilated thermoplastic design of the thumb spica enables the skin underneath to breathe. This helps to maintain skin integrity and health while the spica is worn, keeping it comfortable for longer. 

For additional comfort, the spica features a soft and comfortable interface sheath, making it easier to keep the outer shell in place. An adjustable fastening strap helps to ensure the spica is fitted correctly for maximum efficacy.
