The Elastic Compression Thumb Spica is highly comfortable to use, featuring a compressive elastic material that supports the wrist and thumb while allowing free movement of the palm. It provides provides reliable restriction of the thumb joint with simple touch-and-close fastenings for an easy fit.

Metal Stay

The Elastic Compression Thumb Spica features a metal stay that runs along the thumb, restricting movement at the CMC and MCP (metacarpophalangeal) joints, while leaving the IP (interphalangeal) joint free to move.

Sizing of the Elastic Compression Thumb Spica

The Elastic Compression Thumb Spica is available in four different sizes based on wrist circumference. Please consult the table below for details and select the appropriate size for you from the drop-down menu above.

Please note that the Elastic Compression Thumb Spica is also available in left and right-handed versions, so be sure to select the correct version for your hand.

Delivery Information

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Good support & fairly comfortable to wear. Only downside was a difficulty securing the thumb section- it takes a few tries to secure it accurately. Strong & well made so happy overall.

Since wearing the thumb spica I have noticed immediate improvement. Swelling has gone down and pain is less frequent. Still early days as I've only been using it for about a week.
