Aircast A60 and Sorbothane Pro Total Control Ankle Stability Bundle
The Aircast A60 is the ideal ankle brace for supporting your ankle when you're ready to get back to exercise after an injury, but since ankle stability starts from the soles up, choosing the right footwear is crucial. The Aircast A60 and Sorbothane Pro Total Control Ankle Stability Bundle provides a two-fold stability solution, as the insoles will align your feet while the ankle support prevents rollover – perfect for preventing injury and supporting your ankle as you reintroduce exercise after injury.
What's Included?
Who Should Use the Ankle Stability Bundle?
After spraining your ankle, you'll likely notice a general lack of stability and confidence as you progress through your injury. By correctly aligning the feet and heels while preventing rolled ankles, this kit is the ideal solution for preventing injury and regaining confidence, allowing you to step back onto the field knowing you're well prepared.
What If I Have Recently Injured My Ankle?
This kit is recommended for minor injuries and the latter stages of recovery from more severe ankle injuries. If you are looking to support your ankle after a more recent severe injury, we recommend the Aircast Three-Stage Recovery Pack to provide you with more robust support in the early stages of your recovery.

How Do Sorbothane Pro Control Insoles Increase Stability?
The Sorbothane Sorbo Pro Insoles have shock-absorbing qualities and provide excellent overpronation control and arch support. The insoles are designed to ensure that feet are correctly aligned and cushioned, combining biomechanical pronation control technology with unrivalled Sorbothane shock impact protection.
How Does the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace Prevent Sprains and Rollovers?
This ankle support features a sleek stabiliser that goes from one side of your ankle to the other, resting comfortably under the arch of your foot. The proprioceptive nature of the brace means you are more subconsciously aware of where you are placing your foot, reducing the risk of further injury. Unlike traditional ankle supports, which are often designed with a 90° angle, the A60 supports the ankle at 60°.
What Size of Aircast Do I Need?
The Aircast A60 Ankle Support is available for the left and the right foot in sizes Small, Medium, and Large. Please see the table below for details.
Size | UK Shoe Size |

- Baseball
- Basketball

What Should I Do if I Fall Between Sizes?
If your shoe size falls between two sizes, we suggest selecting the larger of the two sizes for comfort. However, if you would prefer a snug fit, please select the lower of the two sizes. If your ankle is swollen and you are close to a sizing boundary, we would advise choosing a larger size.
Can I Wear This Brace on Both Ankles?
Yes! If you have previously suffered sprains on both ankles and wish to protect against a similar injury in the future, then wearing an A60 on each ankle is a good measure to prevent against sprains and ankle rollover.
What Exercises Can I Do to Aid My Recovery?
Support is important, but stretching and strength exercises will be needed to get your ankle back to full health. We recommend the MoVeS Ankleciser – a small resistance band designed specifically for ankle rehabilitation exercises with progressing resistance. A number of exercises are provided on the Ankleciser product page.
Will the A60 Brace Fit Inside My Normal Shoes?
With a low-profile design that doesn’t bulk out your footwear, you can wear the A60 Ankle Support inside virtually any trainer, football boot, hiking boot or shoe. As you can see from the image below, the brace contours to your ankle shape without excessive bulk, making sure it won’t compromise your footwear and your comfort.
How Easy Is It to Put On the A60 Brace?
This lightweight ankle brace is quick and easy to put on, allowing you to strap it on in a matter of seconds. All you need to do is secure the internal sleeve at the front of your ankle with the hook-and-loop fastener, and then bring the single strap around the back of your ankle and up through the plastic buckle on the outside of your ankle. This can then be adjusted to be as loose or as tight as you require.

Do I Wear Socks with the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace?
It’s best to wear the Aircast A60 brace on top of a sock. Not only will this make it more comfortable, but it will also prevent it from moving around while you’re active. There’s no need to compromise your warmth while playing sports outdoors!
What Is Anti-Migration and How Does the A60 Stay In Place?
As the A60 Ankle Support wraps under the arch of the foot, anchoring the support in the correct position, the ankle brace is prevented from migrating up the leg during use. This means that the brace reduces the risk of the brace moving out of its correct position and limits the time you need to spend repositioning the brace during sport or activity.
What Should I Do After I Take Off the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace?
After removing the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace, we recommend that you gently apply an ice pack to the area. Not only will this feel soothing after an intense workout, but it will also help to prevent any post-match discomfort from turning into something more nasty. The Ankle Ice Pack Wrap is a perfect solution!
What’s the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace Made Of?
This brace is made from special Breathe-O-Prene fabric, while the stabiliser inside the ankle brace is made from a moulded plastic to provide reliable support at a 60° angle. Although rigid enough to provide effective stability, the stabiliser is not uncomfortable, providing reliable and lightweight ankle support. A full list of actual materials include:
- Nylon
- Spandex
- Polyester
- Polypropylene Resin
- Polyethylene Foam
