The Tungsten Carbide Thomson Walker Needle Holder measures 8 inches (20 cm) and is made from high quality, durable stainless steel. These also have 24 carat gold plated handles.

The Thomson Walker Needle Holder has an offset shank which provides easier visualisation. These needle holders were originally designed for genito urinary applications but is now used in many areas of surgery. Suture range 4/0 to 6/0.
